The super greasy extra delicious burgers are made of 14 ritz crackers, one pound of 85/15 lean beef, 1/2 cup of grated colby jack cheese. To add an extra special flÄvor to the burger add cooked chopped bacon...I'll let you decide how much. Blend all this together, make the patties to the size that will fill the belly, cook and enjoy the greasy goodness! On the buns try spreading mayo over the buns like butter then toast the buns on the grill, it adds a certain "somethin" to the burgers. I tried the recipe again the other day and decided to pay attention to what I was doing. Grilled yellow onion rings in the meat drippings are especially delicious to add to the mix on the burgers.
By the way loving it down here in St. George , love the heat and all the little things like splash pads at parks and my kids made friends quickly at school...big load off my mind after transfering here from SLC. Also love that my wife has a bathroom that is not sharef by the kids so she can shower without having tinkle buddies to ask all the deep queations while she's naked :).

SUPER DADDY

MMMM WATERMELON!!!
So today the kids wanted to have "daddy" grilled hamburgers. After church today, I was told that there were 4 meetings after the block at church.... the kids moaned and groaned that I wouldn't be able to do their favorite burgers....needless to say the meetings are now down to 2 (ha ha). I told the stake leaders that they could have me at 1 meeting and the ward leaders could have me on the second. Ashley was in the kitchen having the veritable crap-fest trying to figure out what to do for dinner when SUPER DADDY landed and said, " Let there be BACON in the burgers!!". What followed was the most amazing lunch/dinner SUPER DADDY has had in a while. Bacon infused burgers with chedder cheese grated into the burgers, and soda crackers crushed into the burgers to keep them moist.... mmmm then add in fresh juicy crispy watermelon in huge chunks. Ashley made a "green salad" that had romain lettuce, cheese, bacon(mmm bacon), carrots and a light ranch glaze. Right now we're watching 7 brides for 7 brothers with cake and orange dream-sicle icecream; great way to end a busy day. (still have a meeting at 8pm, then be done for the day).

Excitement drives success, Susccess drives excitement... repetitive; but true. It seems if the days are filled with rejection and angst the day seems to last forever and every transaction with customers becomes dreaded. After observing the "happiest" people in life, it is those who have had a lot of good and uplifting moments hit them all in a row. I've never seen a happy homeless person, or a happy overqualified underpayed employee. But I have noticed that if you start the day with excitement, the same excitement will eventually drive a success in the day!

3 days off from work, got a dog run built for henry so he'll go in 1area of the yard not all over. Got to use old logs cut from a cottonwood cut down a few years back from a scout service project. Overall the cost of the project out of pocket was $9.00, had a gift card from work to use. The rest of the days have been filled with trips to doctors offices and school functions. When I'm not on the go, I've been able to snuggle with the girls as they watch kid movies and sing songs as loud as possible to show dad how they can sing soooo pretty!
Great times....hope there's more to come on other days off!

Seems like when the "best things" in life are presented to you, the preverbial dung hits the fan! At work I keep trying to climb up a ladder to what will lead to bigger and better things for me and the family, but there seems to be rungs missing that I can't seem to find in order to progress forward. I envoke the right to replace my ladder for a scissor lift...
